Pipe Cleaning Equipment Necessary for Efficiency

Pipe cleaning equipment helps to remove the hard or loose internal deposits ingrained in the pipes used in the manufacturing industries. Any obstruction of the pipeline can slower the production process. This is because hindrance to the flow of matter through the pipes can lead to turbulence, which leads to friction increasing. Different types of pipe cleaners

Pipe cleaning equipment can be divided into four types – Pipe Scrapers, Duct Brushes, Wire Brush Pigs and Pull Throughs.

Pipe scrapers: The pipe scrapers are made of spring steel scrapers, which are mounted on a central shaft. This pipe cleaning equipment is used to remove hard deposits or nodules from inside the pipe. The scraper is designed in such a manner, so that it can be pulled back conveniently through the pipe.

Duct Brushes: This is a special pipe cleaning equipment, which is used to loose debris and dirt from the inside of the electrical and communication duct. These equipments are usually supplied with an eye hook at both the endings of the duct brushes, so as to enable to pull through the duct.

Wire Brush Pigs: This looks like wire brushes which are mounted on to the central shaft. The shaft has towing eye hooks at both the end. This pipe cleaning equipment is specially designed, to pull through the metal pipe in order to remove the dust and dirt embedded into the pipe.

Pull Throughs: These are also known as squeegees and are used to remove fine particles and fluids from the pipes. The pipe looks like two thick rubber pieces mounted on a metal shaft, with eye hooks at both the end. This pipe cleaning equipment is suitable for all pipe materials.

Other Cleaning process

The pipe cleaners can be added to different hoses and nozzles, so as to speed up the cleaning process.
The V-spin nozzle is used for long caliber tubes, such as side grooves or sewerage pipes. The nozzle propels within the pipe, with great force and is able to clean the inner surface of the tube completely. The nozzle rotates rapidly due to the gush of water coming out of the nozzle.

The 2D nozzle is used for cleaning up and removing scales and rust from tanks and large caliber pipes. Water is discharged from the nozzle with great force and is able to clean the inside of the pipes.
