Industrial Equipment

Many companies rely on using industrial equipment. Industrial equipment consists of many different products. Some of these are utilized by warehouses and include items such as pallet jacks, carpet poles, conveyer systems, and rolling warehouse carts. These types of industrial equipment are vital to the management and function of warehouse work. Pallet jacks come in a variety of forms such as pallet jack lifters, hydraulic pallet jacks, cold storage pallet jacks, and pallet pullers.

Industrial equipment also includes items such as carpet poles or rug rams. These carpet poles are used to attach rugs to forklifts. Warehouse conveyers and rollers are another example of industrial equipment. Warehouse conveyers and rollers come in a variety of styles. Some of the more common warehouse conveyers and rollers are light duty conveyers, medium duty conveyers, heavy-duty conveyers, super heavy conveyers, skate wheel conveyers, and power conveyers. All of these conveyers help to move and transport boxes, and other heavy packages within a warehouse or other environment.

Some other examples of industrial equipment include metal shelving, forklifts, forklift cranes, and forklift extensions, warehouse and automotive shelving, and packaging supplies. Industrial work is hard, heavy work, therefore industrial equipment needs to be much stronger and sturdier than regular office equipment. Many industrial equipment is made utilizing hydraulic technology, is adjustable, and capable of holding extreme weights. For example, there is an aluminum dock board that has the weight capacity of 10,000 lbs. Obviously, you will not find this at your local Wal-Mart. Another example of industrial equipment related to extreme weights would be an electric chain hoist with crane. Some of these hoists can lift from 500, 1000, or even 2,000 lbs.

When thinking industrial equipment, safety is also an issue. There are products in the industrial equipment arena geared to safety. These include products such as eye goggles, industrial size fire extinguishers and emergency eye wash.
