Keep Your Surroundings Clean With The Electric Power Washer
The electric power washers are used to clean the most stubborn marks, stains, dust, grime, oil and grease from almost any kind of materials, such as vinyl, glass, asphalt, concrete and steel. Compared to the vacuum cleaners, or other types of pressure washers, the electric power washer has proved to be the best. Washers are classified as hot and cold and function differently. Some are electric and some are hydraulic, while others are gasoline or diesel based.
Features of an Electric Power Washer
An electric power washer consist high-pressure hose, trigger gun, motorized water pump and a frame that holds the power source and high-pressure water pump.
How does the washer pressure function?
An electric power washer is a mechanical device, which functions by using high-pressure water. The water forces grime, mold, dirt and dust mud from objects, such as vehicles, buildings and concrete road surface.
The electric power washer includes a pressure pump, which compresses water inside and lets it out from the hose, under controlled pressure. However, the pressure of the water jutting out of the hose pipe is regulated accordingly. But, compared to the pressure of water in the garden hose pipe, the pressure of water coming out of the electric power washer is much greater.
The Different types of Nozzles
The nozzles used at the mouth of the hose pipes are of different types. There are some nozzles, which enable the water to be ejected in triangular shape, while there are nozzles which emit thin jet of water. Again, there are certain types of nozzles, which jet out the water in spiral shape. Some nozzles are attached directly to the trigger gun.
An electric power washer enables you to add detergent to the water, so as to help in the cleaning process. However, there are two types of chemical injectors available – a low pressure injector and a high pressure injector. The prime advantage of an electric power washer is that, it makes the least noise and is useful for all household heavy duty cleaning purposes.
Precautions to be taken
Remember, that an electric power washer can be very dangerous because the pressure of the water at the nozzle can strip your flesh off. The objects present in the water supplied from the nozzle, comes out with great velocity and cleans everything on surface with great velocity.
Hence, if there are cracks or voids in the surface, then the water pressure can be detrimental for the same. However, since the electric power washer works on electricity, therefore you should be careful when operating it.
